Over 70 MYSA players, parents, and coaches came out to our first MYSA Night with the Carolina RailHawks on April 28th. Several teams and families came early to tailgate before the game and enjoy a little pickup soccer with the kids. Once inside, several members of MYSA's travel teams were part of the pre-game ceremonies as on-field escorts for players and game officials and as part of the "fan tunnel" through which the players entered the field.

Carla Overbeck, member of the National Soccer Hall of Fame and player on the '91, '95 & '99 World Cup teams as well as the '96 and '00 Olympics spoke with many of the MYSA's younger travel team players about hard work and her experiences. She even brought her Olympic and World Cup Champion medals for the girls to see
