The Mebane Youth Soccer Association was formed in 2002 to provide area youth with an opportunity to learn and play soccer locally. Starting out as an informal recreational league with a few hundred players, the MYSA now offers programs at all levels of youth soccer from Recreational up through Classic and serves over 900 children each year. The MYSA operates the league in coordination with the Mebane Parks and Recreation Department. The MYSA is a Level 3 (Recreational, Challenge, and Classic) member of the North Carolina Youth Soccer Association and also is a member of US Club Soccer
We offer a variety of soccer programs for children of all ages. Recreational soccer provides a low pressure environment for children to learn and play soccer against other MYSA teams. Recreational soccer is available to children aged 4 (U5) through 18 (U18).
We also offer competitive travel soccer programs for children aged 7 (U8) through 18 (U19). U8-U10 players looking to play at a level above Recreation generally participate in our U9/U10 Select program. Players are registered with US Club soccer and play other U9/U10 teams from both the Triangle and Triad areas.
MYSA Challenge teams play in the Triad Challenge League against teams from across the Triad area. MYSA Classic teams play against teams from across North Carolina. Challenge and Classic players are registered with the North Carolina Youth Soccer Association. Players interested in Select, Challenge, or Classic should see our Select Soccer Information.
The MYSA also has a new TopSoccer program providing opportunities to special needs children to play soccer and other fun games.
